A Post-American America

Importing the third world and becoming the third world seems to be high up on the agenda for Minnesota's political class. If you're unlucky enough to inhabit the rotten and corrupt "Great Lakes" state, Governed by the butchest of butch men, Tim Walz, consider it to be a portend of the America that very plausibly could be:

Minneapolis and St Paul, which together are known as the Twin Cities, are home to one of the largest Somali communities in the world and the largest in the US.

Huh, that's odd. What's, ah-hem, 84,000 Somali residents doing in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area? How could so many East Africans be enticed to escape the thrills and spills of public executions and women covering to come to the land of the free?

Minnesota is drowning in fraud. Billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen during the administration of Governor Tim Walz alone. Democratic state officials, overseeing one of the most generous welfare regimes in the country, are asleep at the switch. And the media, duty-bound by progressive pieties, refuse to connect the dots.

In many cases, the fraud has allegedly been perpetrated by members of Minnesota’s sizeable Somali community. Federal counterterrorism sources confirm that millions of dollars in stolen funds have been sent back to Somalia, where they ultimately landed in the hands of the terror group Al-Shabaab. As one confidential source put it: “The largest funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer.”

Oh, right, I get it: free stuff. And let's not leave out the Autistic Somali's:

After the Feeding Our Future scandal, fraud was discovered in another program in Minnesota. In this particular situation, auditors found a massive growth in spending in Minnesota’s autism program. The number of providers, who are supposed to diagnose and treat people with autism spectrum disorder, increased 700% in the past five years, climbing from 41 providers in 2018 to 328 in 2024.

Tim Walz can fix a pickup truck, as he bragged on the campaign trail last year. As those Royal Navy adverts go, if you can fix a pickup truck, you can fix your Somalian community's autism.

Unfortunately for Tim Walz and co., this hasn't sat well with the Trump administration. According to the local population, and ABC News, "Somalis in Minnesota say ICE agents already targeting their community".

If you lived in Minnesota from the time it joined the union back in 1858, the likelihood of coming across a Somalian or the government was almost zero. Now, it's commonplace. Which is a real bad precedent for both local and federal governments to set: when the state government can't operate, the federal government is forced to kick into action. Which means that the more that states across the union go big on the whole diversity schtick, the more that the country becomes under the rule of the Federal Government. Which is an even worse idea.

Then again, all Walz and co. had to do was go to the State Department's website:

Somalia - Level 4: Do Not Travel

Do not travel to Somalia due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, health, kidnapping, piracy, and lack of availability of routine consular services.

Perhaps Mr Walz believes that what Minnesotan's have been missing all these years is a good sprinkling of kidnapping, piracy and terrorism. Plus, it's even better for his re-election hopes: the useful diversity votes can guarantee that his governorship remain in charge. Free autism funds, free "housing stabilisation funds"–whatever that means–you'd be crazy to go back to crime-ridden Mogadishu.

Next year, Minnesota will go to the polls of course, to elect all of its eight Congressional House members, one of its Senators and over Governor Jazz Hands' now imperilled office. Don't be fooled–those elections will be a fight of demographics more than anything.

How much of a sway can nearly 80,000 "naturalised" Somalis have over a state of 5 or so million? Perhaps not much. But it's enough to hollow out the state government of hundreds of millions of dollars. And so goes my ever-invoked line, you can't vote on that.

If you ask all of those "nation of immigrants" folks, America's concerning lack of that good Somalian culture is what should really bother Joe Average in the middle states. It's just that, some decades hence, Joe Average won't exist. It'll be Abdullahi Average and Yusuf Average. Which will turn Joe Average into Joe Exceptional.

Should these policies persist, which, by all the standards of the past few decades – they will – how can America cling to its Americanness? A "naturalised" US citizen isn't inherently American. But if you ask all of those Minnesotan law-makers, a Somalian claiming more welfare than you could dream of is as American as some farmer in Virginia whose family dates back centuries.

As I've said before, without a border, you don't have a country. The more that lawmakers, regardless of state/country, shill money to people born elsewhere, the more your country's culture will be destroyed.
