Death Coming to a Jew Near You
You wouldn’t typically associate chants of “Death, Death to the IDF!” and “Free Palestine!” with the Glasonbury festival, would you? Given that its 2025 though, the modish, privileged youth of today believe it to be cromulent to chant for the murder of Jews, assisted of course by their friends at the BBC.
Republican Irish group Kneecap, also known for their repugnant anti-semitic views, are to perform at the UK's largest music festival, despite event makers being admonished by the prime minister to not allow them to. Shouting "Kill your local MP" and "Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah" at a concert in London seems fair game to concert organisers if it brings in the squiddly-diddlies. And they won't even be prosecuted for such rhetoric, the Met police confirm, as I doubt the "Death, Death to the IDF" fella will be.
And it ain't just radicalised young-uns who are being granted the privilege to pontificate on political matters on a Glastonbury stage...
"Jezza's back at Glasto!" the youth exalt. Despite the Palestinian-activist MP not having any musical track-record (save a fairly run-of-the-mill anthem sung in his name some years back at the same festival), he believes it to be the right opportunity to witter on about political issues. What makes that short clip so incredibly ironic is that the wall that "surrounds this wonderful festival", as Corbyn shouts, is the very thing that makes it so. As I observed in the case of LAFC and its response to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement doing their job in arresting illegal immigrants some weeks back, the fact that you have to pay to be permitted entrance is what makes being at an LAFC game enjoyable. If they let anyone and everyone in, it would be a miserable furore, thereby discounting those who actually paid.
To bring this to a wider-view, the levels of illegal immigration into the UK is fundamentally tarnishing the institutions that this country once prided itself on. As evidenced in the recent rape-gang inquiry that is still to produce more evidence, the Northern towns and cities that have been ravaged by the fiasco have been perpetuated by mainly Pakistani men. A revealing article in The Spectator in January:
Certain attitudes dominate Pakistan. There is a gory mix in the country of Islamic supremacism, primitive tribalism and violent misogyny, which encourages some men to prey on girls. That many of these girls are underage has little sway on these men, since both their religious beliefs and customs see all females who have reached puberty as being fully grown women. This translates into a rape culture that in recent decades has seen young British girls being mercilessly violated. Sexual harassment by Pakistani men has been reported elsewhere as well, including in Turkey.
If Corbyn and co. really believe that "building bridges, not walls" is the right way to handle the hundreds of thousands of radical young men that lawlessly come into the country each year, then he will have to reconcile with a Britain that is less-safe and much more anti-semitic as a result of it. At the rate that Britain's going, we may as well be propping up bridges across the channel, because at least then we'd have a better idea of the numbers that are coming in.
Moreover, he's going to have to come to terms with a less "tolerant" and "acceptive" Britain. Because if the mullahs continue to come riding in on their dinghies, that "tolerance" is going to be slowly eviscerated. Remember the Orlando Pulse ordeal, when Omar Mateen strolled into a gay nightclub armed with a semi-automatic rifle killing 49 people and injuring 53 more? He did so on behalf of his allegiance to ISIS. Or how about in 2010, when three Muslim men - Ihjaz Ali, Kabir Ahmed, and Razwan Javed - distributed leaflets outside the Jama Mosque in Derby and through local letterboxes, calling for the death penalty for gay people? Or when in 2022, Zaniar Matapour, a Norwegian-Iranian, carried out a shooting at London Pub, a popular gay bar in Oslo, and nearby locations, killing two people and injuring ten, when witnesses reported the attacker shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the assault?
All such cases testify to the repercussions of allowing such extremism to be "tolerated". 'Cus when we "tolerate" support for "death, death to the IDF!", and "Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah", you know you're in the waning years of such "tolerance".
